Veronica: Home Rental Coach

Name: Veronica Hanson

Age: 32

City: Lake Oswego, Oregon

Main Hustle: Pure Romance by Veronica

Side Hustle: Vacay Visionary www.vacayvisionary.com

How did you get started?: I’ve been running my primary home as a vacation rental for one year. In those 12 months, I created a $41,331 income stream. I decided to teach all homeowners how to turn their home into an income generating machine also.

When/where do you work on your Side Hustle?: Anywhere I can. I have two children, ages 6 & 4. I started this brand in the summer, so I do a lot of work from park benches or indoor play centers. As I type this, I am watching my kids jumping on some inflatables at Pump it Up.

What are the challenges of your Side Hustle?: I am brand new to basically every element of an online side hustle. I have had to learn Leadpages, Squarespace, ConvertKit, Teachable, and multiple new social media platforms.

What are the rewards of your Side Hustle?: I am creating true residual income to give my daughters the best life possible.

Who is your greatest supporter?: My husband. He is constantly telling me that this is going to work, and it will be worth it!

Who/what is your greatest source of inspiration?: My kids. Seeing the joy on my kids face as we watch fireworks at Disneyland, visit the Harry Potter studio in England, or spend a birthday in Russia is priceless.

Have you received recognition for your work?: Not yet. My e-course will be launching October 1st. I have however had my first business connect with me for a featured blog post to tell my brand story. It’s a big deal to me, since it’s a brand in my target niche with 4.7 million monthly Pinterest views!

What is your dream for your Side Hustle?: I would like my first round of e-course participants to be about 300. If we can achieve that, we will be debt free, including our home.

Do you have any advice for others working on a Side Hustle?:

Listen to the universe. I knew I was on the right path because I kept getting signs. I have tried so many things that were an uphill battle. When I finally started working on my current business, everything started to fall into place with ease. I’m not saying it hasn’t been hard, but it just seems to work out at every turn.
