How did you get started?: The Dirty Blonde Stylist was created out of a love to create things that are beautiful. From weddings, parties, product photography, and wardrobe styling, there are unlimited opportunities to make ordinary moments sparkle!
When/where do you work on your Side Hustle?: My side hustle is present in every spare moment I have: after work, weekends, or whenever I am feeling inspired!
What are the challenges of your Side Hustle?: Working a full-time job and a side hustle is challenging only in the form of time. Some days I wish there were more hours in the day for me to write, create, and style.
Doing what you love—now that’s the easy part.
What are the rewards of your Side Hustle?: My side hustle is where my creative energy is challenged always! I can style beautiful falt lays in my living room all afternoon and just feel like I’m playing rather than working.
Who is your greatest supporter?: My greatest supporter is my fiancé. He has never questioned my abilities or looked at me like,”Why do you have two lipsticks lined up on the floor?” Him and then my loyal followers, the ones who have organically liked and stuck with me as my Instagram and business has grown.
Who/what is your greatest source of inspiration?: I find inspiration everywhere! But in human form, I have always turned to Rachel Zoe for that quality source of inspiration. Her timeless style and passion for her career and business always make me want to push my own creative abilities.
What is your dream for your Side Hustle?: I would love to be able to make enough from my side hustle to take over my 9-5. Creating content, social media management, and wedding/event planning is the dream!
Do you have any advice for others working on a Side Hustle?: Don’t ever stop the hustle. I look at it like this: we are lucky enough to know what we want to do, and we are able to create that opportunity for ourselves.
There is no one you are going to want to work harder for than yourself.
